- 1999 - United beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA cup final to complete the second part of a historic treble. Sheringham and Scholes sealed our 10th cup victory.
- 2004 - Ruud Van Nistlerooy (2) & Ronaldo score as United beat Millwall 3-0 in a completely one sided FA cup final.
Saturday May 23rd -
- 1996 - Phil Neville makes his international debut and joined his older brother Gary in the England team that beat China in Beijing. Gary and Phil became the first pair of English brothers to represent their country since Bobby and Jack Charlton.
Sunday May 24th -
- 1966 - Eric Cantona was born in Marseille, France
- 1997 - Paul Scholes made his England international debut at Old Trafford as England played South Africa for the very first time.
Monday May 25th -
- 1928 - Malcolm Glazer was born in Rochester, New York.
- 1963 - Manchester United won their first FA cup since 1948 when they beat Leicester City 3-1 with goals from Herd (2) & Law. This was United's first silver wear since the tragedy of the Munich air disaster of 1958.
- 2001 - Beckham, Scholes and Sheringham all scored for England as they defeated Mexico 4-0. It is the first time three different United players have scored for England in the same match.
Tuesday May 26th -
- 1909 - Sir Matt Busby is born in Orbiston, Scotland.
- 1947 - Manchester United finished second in the old First Division in what was the latest finish for any league campaign for United.
- 1983 - Manchester United beat Brighton 4-0 in the FA cup replay. The match was notable for Norman Whiteside becoming the FA Cups youngest ever goalscorer aged just 18 years and 18 days.
- 1999 - Manchester United captured their second Champions League with victory against Bayern Munich of Germany to complete a historic treble of League, FA cup and Champions League. Sheringham and Solskjaer both scored in a remarkable added time period to claim a historic comeback after Bayern took an early lead.

- 1971 - Lee Sharpe was born in Halesowen, West Midlands.
- 1942 - Manchester United beat neighbours City at Maine Road to win the Football league Northern Section.

- 1976 - Gordon Hill makes his England debut for England against Italy in New York. The match also see's Ray Wilkins make his debut also, Wilkins would later go on to become a Manchester United captain.

- 1949 - Brian Kidd was born in Collyhurst, Manchester.
- 1968 - Manchester United defeat Benfica 4-1 at Wembley after extra time to win the clubs first European Cup just 10 years after the Munich disaster. Charlton (2), Kidd and Best scored the Important goals as United became the first English club to win the European Cup.
- 1980 - Mark 'Sparky' Hughes signs apprenticeship forms for Manchester United.
